PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE AMERICAN LEGION:

For God and Country we associate ourselves together for the folowing purposes:

    To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America;
    To maintain law & order;
    To foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism;
    To preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the great wars;
    To inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state, and nation;
    To combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses;
    To make right the master of might;
    To promote peace and good-will on earth;
    To safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy;
    To consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.



A Message From The Commander.... 
    Thank you for visiting our website.  I hope that you find the information within these pages useful.  A little about we do is support our local veterans and community in various ways.  We have several programs that offer scholarships to young men and women.  We also support our local law enforcement and emergency agencies.  Our post is made up of veterans and their families that have served in all branches of the military.  We also have a post home where our members and friends may come for drinks and various sorts of entertainment.  Sundays usually include a live band playing and plenty of room for dancing.

A Message From The Bugle Editor...

    Hello everyone!  My name is Taz and I am the editor for the monthly bugle.  We try and publish a bugle that contains helpful information or even some light hearted material for the many readers.

    For members, if you are not receiving the Bugle please contact us so we can update our records to ensure that your bugle is going to the right address.  We try our best each month to get the Bugle out and into your hands by the first of each month.

    Lastly, anyone that would like to have something considered for the Bugle, please ensure that it is to us by the 15th of each month.  We will do our best to get it in.  Sometimes we will have to wait a month or two to get the information into the Bugle.  Please don't get upset if you don't see it right away.  You may email the information to amleg25@cableone.net.
